On or about Friday, February 19th, 2021, around 8:40 in the morning, an accident between an 18-wheeler and a car sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 near the exchange wtih Tennessee Street in Vallejo, California.
Authorities from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified person was taken to the hospital after an 18-wheeler hauling food and a car collided under unknown circumstances. The tractor-trailer rolled following the initial accident. Paramedics transported one person to the hospital with unspecified injuries, but authorities did not say which vehicle they were from.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 80 runs north and south along the eastern edge of Vallejo, which is about 31 miles north of San Francisco.
