On or about Wednesday, July 7th, 2021, around 3:55 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a semi truck sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the PSP said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 80 in Venango County, Pennsylvania.

Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when a tractor-trailer hauling juice allegedly collided with a semi-truck that had pulled onto the westbound shoulder of Interstate 80 with a flat tire. Emergency responders transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident. Officials did not mention which truck the victim was in at the time of the accident.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 80 runs east and west along the southern edge of Venango County, which is about 83 miles north of downtown Pittsburgh.

Police are still investigating the accident.
