On or about Sunday, February 28th, 2021, around 9:37 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck, a pedestrian, and a tractor-trailer sent one person to the hospital. Police said the accident happened on the southbound side of Interstate 81 in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Investigators from the Pennsylvania State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when an 18-wheeler allegedly struck them and a pickup truck at the scene of a previous accident. Emergency responders rushed the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with serious injuries after the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is near East Hanover Township.
Police hope to release more information at a later date.
