Details:
On or about Tuesday, August 24th, 2021, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident sent one individual to the hospital. Officials from the SCHP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 95 in Colleton County, South Carolina.
Investigators from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified truck driver was injured when his tractor-trailer allegedly sustained a tire blowout and skidded off the road into a wooded patch a short distance off the side of southbound Interstate 95. Bystanders pulled the truck driver from the wreckage before he was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 runs north and south through Colleton County, which is a short distance south of Charleston.
Police are still examining the incident.
