On or about Monday, January 18th, 2021, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer sent a woman to the hospital in critical condition. Troopers from the FHP said the accident happened on Interstate 95 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was seriously injured when a Jeep SUV and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified conditions while driving near Jacksonville International Airport. After the initial collision, the Jeep collided with a guardrail, ejecting the driver. Paramedics rushed the woman to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
According to Google Maps, the accident happened on the north side of Jacksonville.
Florida Highway Patrol and local law enforcement are assisting in the investigation.
