Details:
On or about Thursday, December 30th, 2021, sometime in the morning hours, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Law enforcement officials said one the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 95 in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into the back of a passenger vehicle that had slowed or stopped in traffic on the northbound side of I-95. One person in the passenger vehicle was ejected from the car in the accident. Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
