On or about Tuesday, August 24th, 2021, around 5:30 in the morning, an accident between two tractor-trailers sent one person to the hospital. Officials from the GSP said the accident was reported along the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Liberty County, Georgia.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when an 18-wheeler allegedly struck the back of another tractor-trailer in the northbound lanes of I-95. Emergency responders transported one person to the hospital with unknown injuries after the incident, but did not specify which truck they were in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 runs north and south through Liberty County, which is about 33 miles south of Savannah.
Police are still examining the incident.
