On or about Wednesday, February 24th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a St. Louis man injured. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the Love’s Travel Stop on Baker Road in Lake Township, Ohio.

Investigators said an as-of-yet unidentified man was injured when he was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that was pulling up to the fuel pumps. Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

According to Google Maps, the Love’s Travel Stop is just off the side of Interstate 280 in Perrysburg.

Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted local law enforcement at the scene of the incident.
