On or about Tuesday, January 26th, 2021, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident sent one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on McCords Ferry Road at the intersection with Leesburg Road in Columbia, South Carolina.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly rolled off the side of the road. Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary report.
The intersection is located on the far east side of the Columbia area, according to Google Maps
