On or about Thursday, May 5th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one person injured. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of North Academy and Briargate Boulevard in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Local law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were riding in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances at North Academy and Briargate Boulevard. Emergency responders cut one individual from the wreckage and treated them for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident was on the southbound side of Academy.
Officials are still investigating the crash.
