On or about Thursday, May 5th, 2022, around 6:50 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Authorities from the VSP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Orange Avenue and Gainsboro Road in Roanoke, Virginia.
Representatives from local law enforcement said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured wen a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances. Paramedics transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. Police did not specify which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the crash is not far north from downtown Roanoke.
