On or about Saturday, March 27th, 2021, around 11:54 in the morning, an accident between an 18-wheeler and a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Officers said the accident was reported along the Piedmont Highway in Greenville County, South Carolina.
Officers said one as-of-yet unidentified truck driver was injured when his truck was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that was turning onto Piedmont Highway from Interstate 85. Paramedics transported the truck driver to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. Authorities did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary report.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance outside the Greenville city limits, which is about 102 miles southwest of Charlotte, North Carolina.
