On or about Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022, around 8:45 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the GSP said the accident was reported along Pio Nono Avenue in Macon, Georgia.
Authorities from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the car they were in allegedly struck the back of a turning tractor-trailer. Emergency responders transported the driver of the passenger vehicle to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. Officials did not mention any other injurie sstemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of Macon.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident.
