Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer rollover accident sent one person to the hospital. Officials from the NYSP said the accident happened along Route 11 in Kirkwood, New York.
Deputies from the Broome County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when the 18-wheeler they were driving allegedly veered off the side of the road and rolled after hitting an embankment. Paramedics transported the truck driver to Wilson Hospital to be treated for the injuries they sustained when they were thrown from the vehicle in the accident.
According to Google Maps, Kirkwood is about 174 miles northwest of New York City.
Police are still investigating the accident.
