On or about Tuesday, November 17th, 2020, around 10:00 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle sent one man to the hospital. Deputies from Bexar County said the accident happened on Seguin Road (FM 78) near the intersection with Springfield Road in San Antonio, Texas.

Officers said an as-of-yet unidentified man in his 30s was hurt when his motorcycle was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that was attempting a turn. First responders transported the motorcyclist to Brooke Army Medical Center with a possible broken leg. No other injuries were reported.

Examining the intersection of Seguin Road (FM 78) and Springfield Road on Google Maps shows Seguin Road (FM 78) is four lanes, with a shared turn lane dividing east and westbound traffic. Springfield Road is two lanes that run north and south. Only Springfield has a stop sign at the intersection, which is situated on the northeast side of San Antonio.

Multiple agencies from the surrounding area assisted at the scene of the accident.
