Details:
On or about Wednesday, February 3rd, 2022, around 12:14 in the afternoon, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along Interstate 94 just outside Wadsworth in Lake County, Illinois.
Spokespeople from the Illinois State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in and a tractor-trailer allegedly collided as the truck was jackknifing. Paramedics transported one person in the car to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Wadsworth is about 44 miles north of downtown Chicago.
