On or about Friday, August 27th, 2021, around 12:30 in the morning, a tractor-trailer accident left one person injured. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the 610 West Loop at Highway 59 exit in Houston, Texas.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified truck driver was injured when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly crashed off the side of a high overpass when the truck’s load shifted. The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered unspecified injuries in the accident, and police did not say if he was treated at the scene or taken to a nearby hospital.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of 610 West Loop and Highway 59 is on the southwest side of the Houston area.
Authorities are still examining the accident.
