Details:
On or about Saturday, June 4th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer sent one person to the hospital. Authorities from the LSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Troopers from the Louisiana State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of I-10. Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital with serious injuries stemming from the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Highland Road.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
