On or about Tuesday, June 8th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident, an ambulance, a tractor-trailer, and a box truck sent two people to the hospital. Troopers from the NYSP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 787 in Albany, New York.
Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were taken to the hospital after a tractor-trailer, a box truck, and an ambulance collided under unspecified circumstances. One of the vehicles tipped to one side after the initial crash. Emergency responders treated the driver and passenger in the box truck for unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 787 runs north and south along the western edge of Albany.
Police hope to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
