Details:
On or about Monday, October 11th, 2021, around 6:50 in the evening, a hit-and-run accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer sent a woman to the hospital with serious injuries. Deputies from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Trailside Drive and West North Street in DeForest, Wisconsin.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified pedestrian was seriously injured when she was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as she was walking along or made an attempt to cross the street at or near the intersection of Trailside Drive and West North Street. The offending tractor-trailer fled the scene after the incident.
Police have since charged Eric L. Schroder with Hit and Run – Great Bodily Harm in connection with the accident.
