On or about Wednesday, November 18th, 2020, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from Harris County said the accident happened on the westbound ramp connecting the North Freeway and Highway 59 in Houston, Texas.
Authorities said an as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly crushed a white pickup truck against a concrete barrier. Photos of the scene seem to show the trailer of the semi pinning the pickup truck. One person was taken from the scene to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
Google Maps shows the ramp connecting Highway 59 and North Freeway is two lanes, with concrete barriers on either side of the roadway.
State and local law enforcement agencies are investigating the crash.
