A tractor-trailer driver failed to maintain his lane, striking another tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder, then jackknifing, blocking both westbound lanes of Interstate 24. The driver, Jarrette Bloosomgame, crashed into the tractor-trailer of Eric Harvey, injuring the passenger in Harvey’s vehicle, Deondre Cooksey. The accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, December 3, 2024 near mile marker 117 in Coffee County, TN. Tennessee Highway Patrol were forced to close the westbound lanes of I-24 for several hours to handle the clean-up, and they report Bloosomgame was cited for failing to maintain his lane.
