Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021, around 8:25 in the evening, an accident between a truck and a pedestrian sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries. Deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said the accident happened along London Groveport Road in Madison Township, Ohio.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when they were struck by a passing truck as they were walking near or trying to cross the roadway. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with major injuries after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary statement.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated in southeast Columbus.
Ohio State Highway Patrol is assisting in the investigation.
