On or about Monday, October 12th, 2020, around 10:00 in the morning, a utility truck collision with a motorcycle sent one person to the hospital. The accident took place in the 220 block of North Airport Road in Cedar City, Utah.

Local authorities indicated that one as-of-yet unidentified man was injured when his motorcycle was hit by a utility truck that allegedly failed to yield while turning out of a parking lot. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with various injuries. The utility truck driver, who police plan on citing with failure to yield, was unhurt.

An inspection of Google Maps shows that North Airport Road is two lanes that run north and south through Cedar City, which is located roughly 50 miles northeast of St. George.

Officers hope to release more information about the accident at a later date.
