On or about Friday, January 29th, 2021, around 12:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a box truck and a pedestrian claimed the life of a 60-year-old man. Deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department said the accident happened at the intersection of Roma Hills Drive and Via Garda Drive in Henderson, Nevada.
Representatives from the Nevada State Police said a box truck allegedly backed over a 60-year-old man that may have been acting as a spotter. Paramedics pronounced the 60-year-old man dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene. Police did not mention any other injuries or vehicles in their preliminary statement.
Google Maps shows the intersection of Via Garda Drive and Roma Hills Drive is located within a residential area. Henderson is roughly 15 miles southeast of downtown Las Vegas.
