Details:
On or about Friday, June 4th, 2021, around 10:00 at night, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian left a 65-year-old man dead. Investigators from the area said the accident was reported along Jim Miller Road near the intersection with Bruton Road in Dallas, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives said an as-of-yet unidentified 65-year-old man was killed when he was allegedly hit by a vehicle while he was either walking along or attempting to cross Jim Miller Road outside of a crosswalk. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the incident.
Officials have since said the pedestrian had a blood alcohol concentration of .278.
Police have still not released the name of the pedestrian.
