Details:
On or about Thursday, April 14th, 2022, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a flatbed truck left one person dead. Troopers from the FHP said the accident was reported along SR 80 in Hendry County, Florida.
Representatives from the Florida Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the box truck they were in allegedly struck a flatbed truck and rolled off the side of the roadway. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the box truck dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is near County Road 833.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene to assist.
