On or about Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, around 5:00 in the morning, a major accident between a box truck and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Officers from the area said the accident was reported along 64th Street and Cactus Road in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the passenger vehicle they were in and a box truck collided under unspecified circumstances at 64th and Cactus. Emergency responders pronounced one person in the car dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the collision.
According to Google Maps, 64th Street cuts north and south, while Cactus Road cuts east and west.
Officials are still examining the cause of the crash.
