On or about Thursday, July 7th, 2022, around 5:00 in the morning, a major multi-vehicle chain-reaction accident with a box truck left one person dead. Authorities from the OHP said the accident was reported along Highway 169 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Spokespeople from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a box truck and six other vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident along Highway 169. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead of their injuries after the crash. Emergency responders transported at least one other person to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with East 46th Street North.

Police are still investigating the accident.
