Details:
On or about Friday, January 14th, 2022, around 4:00 at night, an accident between a box truck, a utility van, and two other vehicles left one person dead. Troopers from the SCHP said the accident was reported on the southbound side of Interstate 77 in York County, South Carolina.
Authorities from the South Carolina Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when their car was allegedly struck from behind by a box truck on I-77. After the initial collision, the passenger vehicle was pushed into a nearby BMW driven by Moura Maesha and a utility van driven by Michael Garvin. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the passenger vehicle dead of their injuries after the accident.
Police identified the driver of the box truck as Kevin Brazzell, who was unhurt in the collision.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 77 cuts north and south through York County.
