On or about Friday, January 8th, 2021, around 6:00 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a car left one person dead. Police said the accident happened along Littleton Road near the intersection with Snake Hill Road in Ayer, Massachusetts.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one person was killed when their car and a box truck collided under unknown circumstances, and that the box truck tipped into a residential yard after the collision. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the car dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the box truck was reportedly uninjured.
According to Google Maps, Littleton Road is a major thoroughfare through a residential area that runs east and west. Ayer is located roughly 36 miles northwest of Boston.
