On or about Thursday, April 29th, 2021, around 12:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a box truck and a motorcycle left one individual dead. Police said the accident was reported at the intersection of Main Street (Route 288) and Middle Street in Hingham, Massachusetts.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when their motorcycle and a box truck collided under unknown circumstances. Police did not indicate which direction the vehicles were traveling at the time of the collision. Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries a short time after his arrival. The driver of the box truck was uninjured in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 16 miles southeast of downtown Boston.
