On or about Thursday, January 27th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between an SUV and a box truck left one woman dead. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported along Military Highway in Brownsville, Texas.
Officials from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified 37-year-old woman was killed when the SUV she was driving allegedly crossed over the center line of Military Highway and crashed into a box truck in the oncoming lanes. Paramedics rushed the driver of the SUV to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival. No other injuries were reported following the accident.
According to Google Maps, Brownsville is about 276 miles south of downtown San Antonio.
Police are still investigating the accident.
