On or about Thursday, May 20th, 2021, a multi-vehicle accident involving a disabled box truck left one man dead and sent another to the hospital. Deputies from the Indiana County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Route 286 in Cherryhill Township, Pennsylvania.
Officials said one as-of-yet unidentified 59-year-old man was killed when his vehicle allegedly swerved to avoid a disabled box truck before crossing into the lanes of oncoming traffic where it collided with two other vehicles. One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while another was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
