On or about Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, around 10:08 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a pedestrian left an 84-year-old woman dead. Troopers from the NJHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of West Delaware Avenue and Route 31 in Pennington, New Jersey.
Police from the area said an as-of-yet unidentified 84-year-old woman was killed when she was allegedly struck by a passing box truck as she was walking along or made an attempt to cross the street at the intersection of West Delaware Avenue and Route 31. Paramedics pronounced the woman dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in the initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance north of Trenton.
Police are still examining the circumstances that may have led to the accident.
