Details:
On or about Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, around 11:30 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a cyclist left one person dead. Officials from the FHP said the accident was reported along the Venetian Causeway at the exchange with West Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida.
Local law enforcement personnel said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a box truck as they were riding their bike along or near Venetian Causeway. Emergency responders pronounced the cyclist dead of their injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the Venetian Causeway runs east and west into Miami Beach.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the incident.
