On or about Monday, November 22nd, 2021, around 5:15 in the afternoon, a serious accident between a box truck and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along Highway 15 near the intersection with Second Street in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Officials from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the box truck they were riding in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Highway 15. Emergency responders pronounced a passenger in the box truck dead of their injuries a short time after the collision. It is not clear if either truck driver was injured in the crash.
According to Google Maps, Highway 15 runs north and south through the center of St. Cloud, which is about 65 miles north of Minneapolis.
Police are still investigating the accident.
