On or about Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, around 6:38 in the morning, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a bucket truck claimed the life of a man in his 50s. Deputies from the MCSO said the accident was reported along Highway 105 East in Montgomery County, Texas.

Police officers from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified man in his 50s was killed when the passenger vehicle he was driving allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 105 East and collided head-on with a bucket truck in the oncoming lanes. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated about 42 miles north of downtown Houston.

Authorities are still working to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
