Details:
On or about Sunday, July 4th, 2021, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a bus and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Troopers from the WSP said the accident was reported along Aurora Avenue in Seattle, Washington.
Police from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified pedestrian was killed when they were struck by a bus as they were walking along or trying to cross the lanes of Aurora Avenue. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead a short time after the accident, but they did not specify if they died at the scene or after being taken to the hospital.
According to Google Maps, Aurora Avenue runs north and south through Seattle, just east of downtown.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
