On or about Thursday, July 15th, 2021, around 6:30 in the morning, an accident between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer left one man dead. Authorities from the MSP said the accident occurred at the intersection of Mill Street and County Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Deputies from the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when the motorcycle they were on and a bus collided under unknown conditions at the intersection of Mill Street and County Street. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of his injuries after the accident. Authorities did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of County Street and Mill Street is not far from the center of New Bedford, which is about 58 miles south of Boston.
Police are still investigating the accident.
