Details:
On or about Sunday, November 14th, 2021, around 11:25 in the morning, an accident between a passenger bus and a car left one woman dead and sent another person to the hospital. Representatives from the FHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Route 71 and Peacock Bridge Road in Jackson County, Florida.
Officials from the Florida Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed and another person was hurt when the car they were in was allegedly hit by a passenger bus as they were turning at the intersection of Peacock Bridge Road and Route 71. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car dead, while the passenger in the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Jackson County is about 61 miles northwest of Tallahassee.
Police are still working to pin down the cause of the accident.
