On or about Thursday, May 26th, 2022, around 5:30 in the morning, a major two-vehicle car accident left one individual dead. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of North 15th Street and Grape Street in Abilene, Texas.
Officers from the Abilene Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the passenger vehicle they were in was allegedly hit by an SUV at the intersection of North 15th Street and Grape Street. Paramedics pronounced one person in the passenger vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of 15th Street and Grape Street is on the north side of Abilene.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
