On or about Sunday, June 5th, 2022, around 6:56 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Ben White Boulevard in Austin, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a passing motorist while they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Ben White Boulevard. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Alvin Devane Boulevard.
Police are still investigating the fatal incident.
