Details:
On or about Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, around 12:22 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at a Burger King at 8181 West Sam Houston Parkway in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of Burger King. Authorities indicated the driver of the car may have been an employee or manager of the store. Emergency responders rushed the pedestrian to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the southwest side of Houston.
Police are still investigating the accident.
