Details:
On or about Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, around 9:00 at night, an accident between a van and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Castroville Road near the intersection with South General McMullen Road in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the SAPD said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly struck and dragged by a passing van as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the street near the intersection of South General McMullen Road and Castroville Road. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the scene.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of South General McMullen Road and Castroville Road is on the west side of San Antonio.
Officers from the area are still investigating the incident.
