Details:
On or about Saturday, June 18th, 2022, around 2:00 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one individual dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the Central Freeway in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of Central Freeway and crashed into a barrier a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics pronounced one person dead after the accident, but it is not currently clear if they died at the scene, or after they were rushed to a nearby hospital.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with 6th Street.
Police are still investigating the accident.
