On or about Monday, June 20th, 2022, around 12:40 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the Chase Park One Apartments in Austin, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking through the parking lot of Chase Park One Apartments. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Chase Park One Apartments are situated along Chevy Case Drive.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
