On or about Sunday, February 20th, 2022, around 4:00 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. representatives from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 1100 block of East Anderson Lane in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were assisting at the scene of a previous single-vehicle car accident on East Anderson Lane. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries after the accident. Officials did not report any other injuries in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the north side of Austin.
Police are still investigating the accident.
