Details:
On or about Monday, March 21st, 2022, around 11:07 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 3000 block of East Cesar Chavez Street in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of East Cesar Chavez Street. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of Austin.
Police are still investigating the accident.
