Details:
On or about Sunday, March 27th, 2022, around 6:00 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Eastex Freeway near Lawrence Drive in Beaumont, Texas.
Officials said one as-of=-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly struck by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Eastex Freeway. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
